Place your succulent where it would get full to partial sun. Succulent usually needs at least 6 hours of sunlight or more to thrive. Avoid the scorching sun.If grown indoors, place your plant in the south or east-facing windows indoors to ensure adequate lighting and ample airflow. If you're growing it indoors without much natural light, consider using grow lights. 6500K Fluorescent lights are recommended since they resemble natural light the most but if you want your succulents to bloom, a color light of 3000K might be better. Water Water every 1-2 weeks and allow the soil to dry out completely between watering. Do not over-water to avoid root rot.It is recommended to use the soak and dry watering method. Soak the soil to the point where the excess drains from the bottom of the pot, then allow the soil to thoroughly dry out again before the next watering. It is important to always check the soil first before watering. You can use a moisture meter or your finger to feel the soil.Reduce watering during the winter. Temperature Succulents prefer a temperate climate and can tolerate temperatures ranging from 50 to 90°F. Most grow well both indoors and outdoors with proper care.Avoid exposing your plant to temperatures below 50° F (10° C). It is best to take your plant indoors or have some protection when the temperature drops below freezing point.Protect from extremely hot temperatures (above 90° F). Soil Succulent requires good drainage to grow healthy. Water should be drained fast to avoid over-absorption to roots. It is better to use a soil mix that does not settle in water for long. The easiest solution is to choose a commercial cactus mix, otherwise, you can make a well-draining soil mixture on your own by combining the equal parts of perlite or pumice and potting soil.Fertilize once per year with a highly diluted all-purpose houseplant fertilizer during the growing season.
